of Reclamation Office in
Ephrata, for the modifications
at the Bacon Siphon Inlet Main
Canal.
There were six bids re-
ceived ranging from $48,565 to
$90,556. There apparent low
bidder was Tony Russell Con-
struction Company of Othello,
with a bid of $48,565. The
apparent second low bidder
was P.K. Contractors, Inc., of
Spokane, with a bid of $56,940.
The Bureau engineer's esti-
mate was $57,300.
The principal parts of the
work include constructing
embankments; raising the
walls of the inlet transition of
the siphon; raising the con-
crete lining for the canal for
approximately 300 feet up-
stream from the transition:
