STEWART ATTENDS MILWAUKEE MEETING +Mrs. ,Ll'_wis Stewart, presi- dent of the,local chapter of the Milwaukee Women's Club at- lt2nded the biennial meeting of the club in Chicago ~riday and Saturday of last week. Sixty chapters were rep~e- sented at the mleeting which started at 10:00 a.m. Friday. OtheUo's chapter is one of th*e 41 clubs which was reported over the top in mtemb, r~hip for 1952 with 204 members. The organization has 'a total of 18,000 members, just 3,000 un3br the quota set for t~his year. At the afternoon session the president of each chapter gave a three-minute ,~eport on the activities of her chapter, and ~eneral officers were e- lec~l. In the evening there was a bus tri9 around C;hicago end- )n~ with dinrter in Chin'atown and a visit to a. television sh~w. Saturday there was a lunch- ~on in the ballroom of Hotel Shlerman which was" attended by nearly 700 people.
