Olson Named For Savings, Loan Program Jeff L. Olson of Othello, has been selected to attend the School for Executive De- velopment for savings and loan personnel at the Uni- versity of Washington, Sept. 1 through 13. Olson is branch manager at Community Sav- ings and Loan, Othello office. The school, conducted by the American Savings and Loan Institute in cooperation with the University of Wash- ington, is a two-week intensive educational program for per- sons in managerial and super- visory positions in the savings association business. Olson is one of approx- imately 100 students chosen from applicants from across the country for the first year session at the school. Success- ful completion of the first year, a management project and a significant ratio project plus other interim outside assign- ments qualifies the student for a second year. Subjects included in the study are Economic Guides for Management Decisions, Man- agement and Administration, Financial Institutions, Organ- izational Behavior and Com- munication Skills in Manage- ment.
