will be capped in ceremonies
at the Community Center on
the North Campus at 8 p.m.
on Nov. 8.
The class is the 20th to
graduate since the licensed
practical nursing course was
instituted at Big Bend. A
total of 325 students have
completed the course and
most of them are now
working in hospitals and
clinics, according to Mrs.
Grant Harris, head of the
health occupations depart-
ment. "The demand for
practical nurses seems to be
getting greater all the time,"
she says.
To be capped at the Nov. 8
