OTHELLO POSTOFFICE
TO BE SECOND CLASS
rI'he Othello post of¢ice has
~been reclassified a second class
post office, according to Mrs.
Blanche Barton, postmistress.
The classification is based on
the volume of business which
goes through in one year's time.
According to Mrs. Barton, this
figure was reached the first of
t'he month. This, of course, did
not take into consideration the
Christmas rush volume.
The classification change will
be official June 1.
Luncheon Held For
Cub Den Mothers.
A luncheon was held Tuesday
at the home of Mrs. Ed Olson
for den mothers and assistant
den mothers of the Othello Cub
Scout pack.
Those who attended were:
Den 1, Mrs. Ennis and Mrs.
• Clayton Michel; Den' 2, Mrs.
~Benson and Mrs. Richardson;
~Den 3, Mrs. Olson and Mrs.
Gammon; Den 4, ~Mrs. Winfrey
,and Mrs. St. IJuise; Den 5, Mrs.
~Wright and Mrs. Orton; Den 6,
:Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Burleson.
Mr. Caw, cubmaster, and Mr.
~ochmiller, chairman of the
~ck committee also were in at-
tendance.
The next meeting will be held
on January 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the
home of Mrs. Clayton Michel.
